Video Furnace adds Techex to European distributor network

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. - Feb. 20, 2008 -Video Furnace (www.videofurnace.com), a leading provider of enterprise-class IP video solutions, today signed an agreement with Techex (www.techex.co.uk), Europe's largest distributor of video transmission technology, to resell Video Furnace System 4 throughout Europe, effectively increasing market coverage by at least 33 percent.

Video Furnace System 4 provides Techex customers with an easy to deploy, affordable to maintain and simple to use solution for organizations to securely and cost-effectively deliver live, broadcast and on-demand TV-quality video to any network-connected computers and TVs. The Video Furnace solution supports all operating systems and does not require any resident player software, browser plug-ins or hardware on the connected devices, which is an industry first.

OSTN content is available to more than 4,500 colleges and universities globally. With the migration to Video Furnace, OSTN now can extend its reach to all users on a campus network, regardless of the device operating system or player software. Previously, users needed a specific operating system or media player to view OSTN content. With Video Furnace, OSTN can provide integration with course management software to deliver content such as distance-learning assignments and event broadcasts.
